Songs for a Friend Coffeehouse fundraiser

On Friday, May 1, we had the "Songs for a Friend" fundraiser. We had about 10 acts who played guitar, played piano, or sang, or some combination of the three. There were high schoolers and Maryville College students who played and sang, and two of my friends from MC were the masters of ceremonies. Everyone did a really good job... the whole evening went really smoothly and everyone seemed to have a good time.

Tickets were $5 each and we sold Guatemalan coffee, generously donated by John Clark from Vienna Coffee Company, and some homemade goodies baked by my mom, Barb, and Kristy. There was a great turnout and all-in-all we raised about $700, so I'm over the $1000 mark now! Thank you to everyone who sang, played, baked, or came to listen on Friday! Here are a couple pictures from the night and a link to all the pictures Mom took from the night. (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=77161&id=735841228&l=2ed0e1453e)
